What does this role look like?As an Electronics Engineer Associate, you will perform Engineering functions in support of the US Navy's Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) D5 Life Extension (D5LE) Avionics/Test Missile Kit (TMK) Engineering.
Learn about the Trident II D5 Fleet Ballistic Missile. Lockheed Martin (LM) is looking for a highly motivated Electronics Engineer to become a member of the Missile Systems Engineering & Integration Team.
Key activities you will accomplish in this role:- Work with other Subject Matter Authorities to understand the hardware and systems.
- Perform problem investigation of hardware acceptance testing at the part, CCA and package levels.
- Apply circuit design and troubleshooting principles to develop new and improve existing electronics hardware.
- Assessment, troubleshooting and analysis of existing Avionics Hardware.
- Create and maintain documents to include Electronic Drawings including Schematics, and other Avionics Hardware documentation.
- Participate in technical reviews and audits.
To be effective in this role, you will need:- Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
- Have previous experience troubleshooting hardware using schematics, drawings or simulation tools.
- Have experience or previous coursework using lab equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multimeters, power supplies, etc.).
- 0-2 years professional experience.
- Willing and able to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret clearance, thus you are a US Citizen.
Basic Qualifications- Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
- Have previous work or school lab experience troubleshooting electronics hardware using schematics, drawings, or simulation tools.
- Have experience or previous coursework using lab equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multimeters, power supplies, etc.).
- Experience or coursework with electronic analog and/or digital design.
- Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance.
Desired Skills- Proficient with electronic systems schematic interpretation.
- The ability to work in team environment
- Strong communication skills and able to effectively work with customer and suppliers
- Willing to travel to support technical tasks if needed
- Analog and/or digital design, analysis and testing experience is highly desired
- Experience performing circuit simulation with tools such as ORCAD PSPICE or Similar Tools
- Basic circuit design skills
- Display a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Experience with hardware development, manufacturing, integration and test.
- Ability and desire to work both independently and as a part of cross-functional team of electronic, mechanical, software and Test Equipment engineers.
Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $65500.00 - $121700.00
