Job DescriptionYou will be the Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3) Engineer Senior for the Aeronautics team which is responsible for advancing cutting-edge aircraft technologies.
What You Will Be DoingAs the Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3) Engineer Senior you will be responsible for leading requirements development, tracking, and verification testing of systems, and overseeing electromagnetic compatibility testing of developmental and deployable systems on flight-test fighter platforms.

- Lead requirements development, tracking, and verification testing for system-level projects.
- Conduct platform-level Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) testing and develop test procedures for flight-test modifications.
- Perform RF and antenna analysis, including COSITE assessments, antenna radome performance, and RF/fiber-optic cabling evaluations.
- Oversee electromagnetic radiation hazard (EMRADHAZ) assessments and ensure compliance with aircraft power and wiring standards.
- Coordinate domestic travel for on-site test execution and stakeholder collaboration.

Basic QualificationsSTEM degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, Electrical / Electronics / Computer Engineering or Physics.
System integration testing experience.
Desired skillsStrong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Design concepts of system-level EMC testing with experience.
Knowledge of MIL-STD-461F/G, MIL-STD-464C/D.
Basic understanding of the Systems Engineering process.
Ability to multi-task and work with multiple teams on different concurrent projects.
Experience with Radio Frequency (RF) systems, RF COSITE analysis, antenna systems and RF measurement techniques, RF/Fiber optic cabling, and/or antenna radome performance.
Experience authoring documents using Microsoft Office products.
Experience in a flight test environment.
Work Schedule InformationLockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. National Pay StatementPay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $89,300 - $157,550. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
