The Electrical Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the quality, safety, and timely execution of electrical installation projects on site. This role coordinates both in-house and outsourced work, performs quality checks, supports equipment trials, trains contract labor, and provides clear reporting to project managers and customers. This position requires extensive travel, hands-on involvement, and adherence to Dematic standards.
The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $88,500 - $118,00 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.
Tasks and Qualifications:What You Will Do in This Role:- Ensure installation quality on project sites, including both manufacturing and subcontractor work.
- Complete quality checklists and submit corrective actions when discrepancies are identified.
- Maintain on-site safety, including performing safety audits and enforcing standards.
- Assist with routine equipment trial runs to verify specifications and accurate installation per Dematic standards.
- Provide on-site reporting on schedule, resources, and project status to project leads and/or customers.
- Train and support contract labor and subcontractors in the installation of Dematic and other material handling equipment.
- Write clear, concise, and timely trip reports according to Dematic procedures.
- Identify and resolve on-site problems, and perform physical tasks as needed (push, pull, crawl, squat, lift at least 50 lbs).
What We are Looking For: - Minimum of 10 years' experience in troubleshooting electrical equipment.
- Service experience with AGVs, AS/RS, or conveyors preferred.
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience required; Associate degree preferred.
- Experience in quality assurance and adherence to installation standards.
- OSHA 30 certification required.
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs and perform physical tasks on-site.
- Proficient with personal computers, spreadsheets, and weekly status reporting.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to work weekends, holidays, off-shifts, and overtime as needed.
