Job Summary:Big G Electric is looking for a Project Manager to plan and direct project activities from concept to completion, interfacing with clients, and providing management oversight to Big G Electric projects. Poject duration is estimated to be 8-12 months.

- Contribute on a multifunctional project team responsible for development of the Project Plan and Implementation Strategy.
- Lead a Project Team through a planned project through to completion while meeting both cost and schedule targets.
- Direct the work effort of internal staff, suppliers, and customers.
- Provide mentorship and training for other project managers within the company.
- Provide leadership and direction in negotiation, building consensus and achieving compromise.
- High-level decision-making responsibility with impact to include the project team, company, suppliers, and external customers as well as warranty, patents, products or processes, technology, costs, sales and customer perceptions.
- Project scheduling, resource allocations and budgeting including a thorough review of the qualifications and availability of corporate and employee resources to ensure that the right people are assigned to a project for the right length of time.
- Review contracts, new or revised scope of work, and other customer requests for program and budget impact.
- Experience with quality management/quality control systems and processes.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Engineering Manager.
Knowledge, Skills & Ability:- Working knowledge of industry standards for product delivery.
- Extensive understanding of complex program concepts and applications including project scheduling, resource allocations and planning and budget analysis.
- Experience with construction management, project controls and subcontractor coordination.
- Possession of excellent technical writing, briefing, and facilitation skills.
- Requires a self-starter with strong leadership skills.
- Demonstrated skill in negotiation, building consensus and achieving compromise.
- Demonstrated Technical Leadership Skills.
- Strong leadership, Project Management and Business Management skills.
- Strong computer skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent interpersonal skills; must be able to work independently and interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
Qualifications:- Accredited bachelor's degree or 10 years work experience required, Master's degree in Management or Technical Field is preferred.
- PMP certification is preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check, SSN verification, and drug test.

The workload may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time, review information on a computer screen and be able to withstand repetitive motion (up to 10 hours a day with lunch and breaks). The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Must have manual dexterity to operate computer keyboard and standard office equipment and ability to work in excess of a 40-hour week if necessary.
