Position Overview

We're a trusted leader in residential home services across Northern Colorado. We're growing quickly and looking for an experienced Electrical Manager with an active Colorado Master Electrician License to lead our electrical operations and support a high-performing team.

This role combines technical expertise, field leadership, customer service, and team development. The ideal candidate is a strong electrical professional who can oversee residential electrical work, ensure quality and code compliance, support technicians in the field, and help drive the success and growth of the electrical department.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily electrical operations, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to company quality standards.
  • Perform and support residential electrical installations, repairs, troubleshooting, and upgrades, including panels, service changes, rewiring, EV chargers, and other electrical systems.
  • Complete and oversee electrical work associated with HVAC installations, including furnaces, air handlers, condensers, thermostats, and zoning systems.
  • Provide technical guidance and field support to electricians, apprentices, and installation teams.
  • Mentor, train, and develop apprentice and journeyman electricians to improve technical skills, productivity, and quality.
  • Review electrical work for compliance with the NEC, Colorado electrical codes, permitting requirements, and company standards.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, electrical diagrams, plans, and specifications.
  • Troubleshoot complex electrical circuits, equipment, controls, and system issues.
  • Oversee installations involving 480/277V and 240/208/120V systems.
  • Support electrical projects involving conduit, MC cabling, motor starters, control devices, VFDs, and other electrical components.
  • Procure and coordinate materials required to complete assigned projects.
  • Partner with dispatch, service, installation, sales, and leadership teams to ensure jobs are properly scheduled and completed.
  • Assist with permitting, inspections, and code compliance as needed.
  • Help establish and maintain electrical department processes, procedures, and quality standards.
  • Monitor job quality, customer satisfaction, productivity, and overall field performance.
  • Provide professional, 5-star service and build trust with homeowners.
  • Promote a culture of safety, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
  • Active Colorado Master Electrician License - Required
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a licensed electrician; management or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Strong residential electrical experience required; HVAC-related electrical experience preferred.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of NEC, Colorado electrical codes, permitting, and inspection requirements.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot complex electrical systems and resolve technical issues.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, electrical diagrams, and technical documentation.
  • Working knowledge of VFDs, motor starters, control systems, and related electrical components.
  • Experience leading, mentoring, and developing electricians and apprentices.
  • Strong organizational, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to balance field responsibilities with administrative and operational priorities.
  • Comfortable using tablets, mobile applications, and digital tools in the field.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Work Environment:

Works in field environments across residential job sites and may regularly climb ladders, navigate uneven surfaces, and work in confined spaces. The position may require lifting and moving materials up to 50 pounds and operating hand and power tools and company vehicles. Must be able to see, hear, and exchange accurate information with customers and team members. Regular exposure to outdoor weather, noise, dust, and varying job-site conditions.
