The OpportunityBlack & Veatch is seeking an
Electrical & Instrumentation Estimator. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Assist in preparation and review of E & I estimates in the following industries:
- Advanced Generation
- Battery Storage
- Utility Solar
- Fuel & Natural Resources/Process
- Water & Wastewater
- Understand design scope and develop quantities
- Apply productivity rates to quantities to develop manhours
- Assist in the maintenance of the Estimating database
- Works with the estimating team to create process efficiencies
- Prepare and present estimates to management
- Update & maintain historical data
- Travel to active projects to perform audits etc.
Management ResponsibilitiesIndividual Contributor
Preferred Qualifications- Strong E & I skillset
- Industrial Project Field experience
- Strong communication skills
- The ability to work under timelines
- The ability to manage multiple projects
- Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) proficiency
- Estimating Software (SAGE Timberline, InEight) experience
- 1 to 3 year estimating experience
- Field and/or Project experience is a plus
Minimum Qualifications- 5 to 10 years of relevant experience is required

Work Environment/Physical DemandsHybrid or flexible work options may be offered after the first 90 days of employment based upon manager discretion, job performance and work assignments.
