Description
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Foreman to plan, coordinate, and supervise commercial electrical installations under the direction of project management.
This is a Working Foreman role, leading journeymen and apprentices while ensuring all work meets NEC standards, productivity goals, and project deadlines. The ideal candidate is a skilled electrician with a California Journeyman Electrician license and experience in retail electrical construction.
Schedule - Sunday through Thursday
- 9:00 p.m. to 5:30 a.m.
- Travel assignments as required
Scope of work- Supervise the commercial production of electrical journeyman and apprentices
- Interpret blueprints, schematics or plans and layout work for journeyman and apprentices
- Perform tool-box talks and training to electrical apprentices and/or journeyman
- Install commercial electrical equipment and fixtures
- Install various types of conduit, raceway and cable tray systems
- Experience with refrigeration motor control, Ansul Systems and EMS is preferred
- Knowledge of retail new construction and/or retail tenant improvement projects is desired
- Troubleshoot motor control systems
- May be asked to work in confined spaces
- Perform work from ladders, man lifts and/or during inclement weather
- Communicate with project managers and safety teams regarding jobsite progress
- Demonstrate and enforce quality electrical journeyman installation and jobsite safety
Requirements
- Six or more years of experience as a commercial electrical journeyman with a minimum of two years of foreman experience preferably from retail construction projects
- Above average troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
- Valid driver license with the ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and a motor vehicle background check
- Strong English literacy skills are required to effectively communicate with management via email, phone
- Must be available to work nights or travel as needed

Salary Description
$35 to $45 (based on experience)
