Electrical ForemanPiper Electric is seeking an experienced
Electrical Foreman to lead commercial electrical projects throughout the Denver metro area. This position is ideal for a hands-on leader who takes pride in delivering quality work, maintaining a safe jobsite, and helping crews succeed.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Lead and supervise electricians and apprentices on commercial electrical projects.
- Plan daily work activities, assign responsibilities, and communicate production goals.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, schedules, and scope documents.
- Coordinate manpower, materials, equipment, inspections, and project requirements.
- Install and oversee electrical systems, including conduit, wiring, panels, lighting, and related equipment.
- Monitor job progress, productivity, quality, and labor hours.
- Coordinate work with project managers, general contractors, subcontractors, and other trades.
- Identify potential issues early and communicate schedule, material, or manpower needs.
- Maintain accurate daily reports, time records, material tracking, and project documentation.
- Conduct jobsite safety meetings and ensure compliance with company policies, OSHA standards, and electrical codes.
- Train, mentor, and develop electricians and apprentices.
- Ensure work is completed correctly, safely, and according to project schedules.
Qualifications- Five or more years of commercial electrical construction experience.
- Previous experience leading electrical crews as a Foreman or Lead Electrician.
- Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code and commercial electrical systems.
- Ability to read blueprints, electrical drawings, and project specifications.
- Experience planning work, managing manpower, and tracking jobsite productivity.
- Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with project management and other trades.
- Colorado Journeyman Electrician license preferred.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
