Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
• Master Electrician license or relevant field experience accepted in lieu of a degree.
• Minimum 10 years of experience as an Electrical Estimator in commercial construction or equivalent role.
• Advanced proficiency in Accubid Anywhere and Microsoft Excel for cost estimation.
• Knowledge of electrical BIM desirable but not mandatory.
• Strong understanding of labor and material costs and value engineering principles.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Analyze project specifications and drawings for cost-saving metrics.
• Utilize industry knowledge to optimize project cost performance.
• Engage with project teams on value engineering strategies.
• Prepare detailed estimates and document assumptions.
• Generate reports and presentations on estimate findings.
• Maintain accurate records of estimating processes and historical data.
