Job DescriptionYou will be the Electrical Engineering Associate Manager - Level 4 for the Electrical Systems team which is responsible for delivering integrated electrical power, cockpit equipment, and lighting solutions supporting the IFG and ADP lines of business.
What You Will Be DoingAs the Electrical Engineering Associate Manager - Level 4 you will be responsible for leading a high-performing engineering group to deliver cost-effective, schedule-driven, and technically sound Electrical Systems solutions.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Lead cost, schedule, and technical execution of existing Electrical Systems development efforts.
- Provide day-to-day leadership for a 12-15 engineer team, coordinating production and sustainment support.
- Drive design reviews, engineering releases, and other technical assessments.
- Guide new-business pursuits, developing proposals, effort estimates, and task descriptions.
- Advance modernization through Model Based Systems Engineering and Electrical System modeling.

Basic Qualifications- Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited college or university in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering or related field. Combined experience/education considered
- Experience with technical oversight of suppliers.
- Experience with aircraft system design and hardware qualification.
- Experience with systems engineering lifecycle & understanding of systems thinking skills and behaviors.
Desired skills- Familiarity with aircraft Electrical Systems.
- Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships across organizational levels and teams.
- Strong presentation skills and ability to address complex matters and solutions with senior leadership.
- Experience with safety-of-flight qualification, airworthiness, flight certification and/or system safety.
- Experience with Project Management.
- Problem investigation resolution and root cause analysis experience.
- Experience with project planning and Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS).
- Experience as a Cost Account Manager (CAM).
- Familiarity with IFG Platforms and Processes
Work Schedule InformationLockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. National Pay StatementPay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $104,500 - $184,115. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
