Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field with 2+ years of experience.
• Strong knowledge of solid modeling and 2D drafting.
• Ability to write and interpret technical reports and interface documents.
• Experience in preparing and delivering presentation materials.
• Hands-on expertise with electric motors and variable frequency drives (VFDs).
• Capable of physically troubleshooting AC and DC power distribution systems.
• Previous experience in leading and mentoring teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Altium or other ECAD.
• U.S. citizen with ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert guidance on diverse technical projects.
• Design electrical and control systems, equipment, and associated packages.
• Utilize Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) for capturing design requirements.
• Conduct feasibility studies and test new or modified designs.
• Direct support personnel in developing detailed design and testing documents.
• Assist program managers with technical support and documentation.
• Prepare variance documentation to address design and manufacturing challenges.
• Maintain communication with program management to resolve technical issues.
