Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in Electrical Engineering focused on commercial vehicle drive systems and lithium-ion battery systems.
• Proven hands-on troubleshooting experience in automotive or commercial vehicle systems.
• In-depth knowledge of wiring harness design and diagnostics for high-voltage (HV) and low-voltage (LV) systems.
• Experience using CAN tools for network debugging and data logging.
• Understanding of electrical architectures and integration within vehicles.
• Familiar with control hardware like sensors, actuators, and power electronics, including diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Perform troubleshooting and issue resolution for current product vehicle support.
• Debug CAN communication including SAE J1939 analysis and network fault isolation.
• Address wiring harness issues including routing and connector integrity.
• Investigate failure modes in HV and LV junction boxes and improve electrical distribution faults.
• Work on power electronics including inverters and DCDCs to resolve interface challenges.
• Conduct EMI/EMC investigations and implement mitigation strategies in vehicle environments.
• Enhance the performance and robustness of electrical distribution systems.
• Support Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA) by focusing on real-world failure modes.
