The
Shipboard Effectors Department is currently searching for an
Electrical Engineer I to work on a multi-discipline team to support the production of Shipboard Effectors products and subsystems located in
Louisville, KY. This Electrical Engineering position is responsible for
Circuit Card Assemblies (CCAs) and other electrical subsystem hardware. We are seeking candidates with the skills and passion to engineer complex systems, subsystems, circuit card assemblies, and components.
A successful candidate is one who can participate in a multi-disciplined team and properly apply engineering tools and processes. A candidate is willing to collaborate and coordinate with Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and other Engineering disciplines to resolve issues that may arise during production, testing, and integration.
What You Will Do:- Troubleshoot hardware and process issues down to CCA and component levels
- Resolution of issues on production lines and in testing (including suppliers)
- Failure analysis / root cause determination and corrective action implementation
- Performing analog and digital circuit analysis, and characterizing and modeling electrical signals of electronic subsystems in simulation
- Identifying and instantiating circuit card and subassembly design updates
- Some travel to suppliers may be required
Qualifications You Must Have:- Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering or related STEM degree
- Electronics coursework, laboratory, or projects of electronics design
- The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework or projectsQualifications We Prefer:- Knowledge of analog, digital, or mixed signal analysis/design
- Radio Frequency (RF) and Electromagnetic coursework and/or laboratory experience
- Knowledge of high-level programming languages, such as: BASIC, C/C++
- Interest in or experience with RF/microwave devices
- Experience with electrical software, such as: Mentor Graphics, DxDesigner, PSPICE, Advanced Design System (ADS)
- Experience with common test equipment, such as: Oscilloscopes, DMMs, Logic Analyzers, Network Analyzers, etc.

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
