This is an entry level Electrical Engineer 1 role. This role is in Melbourne, FL.
What
You Will Do:
- You will participate in researching, developing, designing, and testing electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks, as well as resolving day-to-day technical problems by troubleshooting electrical device problems on the production line.
- You will complete drawing designs as required, operates engineering software and equipment, and confers with stakeholders regarding engineering projects.
- You will perform engineering work and applied research, development, and design for new products to ensure quality standards and functional objectives are met.
What
You Will Learn:
- You will gain knowledge about designing electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes.
- You will gain knowledge in analyzing and evaluating new or improved electronic components. Includes power generation, transmission and distribution, rotating machinery, illumination, wire and wireless communication systems.
Qualifications
You Must Have:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) major obtained by start date.
*Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Displays experience using test equipment such as Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, Power Meters.
- Displays experience using MatLab, C, C+, Excel, JavaScript.
- Displays experience using eCAD Tools and Electronic design and simulation tools.
- Proficient knowledge using Microsoft Office products.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
