Full Job Description
The Waldinger Corporation / Pro Electric has an opportunity for a qualified Electrical Project Manager in our Kansas City Office.

Job Summary:

Responsible for the success of small to mid-sized projects that require strong technical ability and interpersonal skills. The Project Manager has a knowledge subset and ability to execute on a project as well as collaborate with project engineering and field leadership for success.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School or Equivalent. Some higher-level education (Preferred)
  • Construction Management and/or Electrical Engineering degree (Preferred)
  • Construction Management and Electrical Engineering degrees a plus
  • Minimum 5 years of Project Management experience in the electrical industry
  • Commercial and Industrial Electrical Design Build project experience

Broad understanding of technical electrical systems including but not limited to:
  • Blueprint reading
  • Estimating
  • Underground layout and installation
  • Aboveground layout and installation
  • Lighting Systems Installation
  • Instrumentation installation
  • Cable tray systems
  • Cable pulling in conduit and tray
  • Strong oral and communication skills
  • Ability to travel in Kansas City Region
  • Clear driving record and valid driver's license required
  • Must have excellent computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, such as Word, Excel, and Outlook with the ability to become proficient in other construction software applications
  • Strong ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and work on various duties efficiently
