Job Description

As a Environment Health and Safety Manager you will drive health and safety excellence across our operations, ensuring compliance with US and international regulations, fostering a positive safety culture, and collaborating closely with both internal teams and external clients to maintain safe, efficient, and reliable services.

YOUR TASKS
  • Conduct regular risk assessments (RAMS), site inspections, and safety audits to identify potential hazards and implement appropriate controls.
  • Manage the investigation of incidents, including root cause analysis (RCA), and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Develop, review, and update Health and Safety procedures, method statements, and permit-to-work systems.
  • Ensure compliance with US and international H&S regulations, codes of practice, and internal policies.
  • Deliver and coordinate safety training programs, Safety talks, and inductions for employees and contractors.
  • Lead and participate in site safety meetings, audits, and reviews with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date safety records, including incident reports, training logs, and compliance documentation.
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies and ensure that all required permits and licenses are obtained and maintained.
  • Collaborate closely with technical services managers, vendors, customers and site teams to ensure safe systems of work are in place.
  • Promote a positive safety culture by engaging with staff at all levels and leading by example.
  • Build strong working relationships with customers, ensuring clear communication on H&S matters and alignment with their safety expectations.


Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role.

  • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Experience with MS SharePoint in a corporate environment.
  • ISO 45001:2018 or other quality management approaches.
  • Manual Handling Train the Trainer
