What you will do

Lead the implementation of the plant's environmental management system, ensuring compliance with regulations and promoting initiatives that reduce environmental impact. Drive a cultural shift towards safety through engagement and leadership, focusing on minimizing work-related injuries. Manage safety and environmental programs, training, and compliance monitoring.

How you will do it
  • Engage all levels of the workforce to drive cultural change and meet environmental performance goals.
  • Act as the primary liaison with regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with environmental standards.
  • Conduct incident investigations to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Provide comprehensive training on environmental programs and safety procedures.
  • Develop and roll out motivational programs to enhance environmental awareness.
  • Ensure compliance with industrial hygiene testing and establish continuous improvement plans.
  • Oversee the management of hazardous and non-hazardous waste, ensuring proper handling and disposal.
  • Implement proactive measures to enhance air and waste management controls.
  • Present safety and environmental training tailored to site-specific needs.

HIRING SALARY RANGE: $105,000-122,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, location and alignment with market data.) This role offers a competitive Bonus plan that will take into account individual, group, and corporate performance. This position includes a competitive benefits package.
