Full Job Description
We are currently seeking an EHS ISO Manager. This position reports to the Director of EHS at our Cudahy, WI headquarters. This position will manage, develop, and implement all aspects of our ISO 14001 and 45001 management systems and will help promote the zero injury and imperative 8 safety culture. In addition to ISO Management this role will provide EHS support to two satellite Wisconsin facilities. Travel will be required up to 30% of the time to support satellite facilities and ISO certifications across domestic operations. Responsibilities: - Develop, create and update ISO management system documentation to meet ISO standards 14001/45001and regulatory compliance for all Forged Products domestic locations - Collaborate with EHS and operations to produce an ISO management system that sustainably supports an improvement to EHS culture and execution - Monitor and report on the ISO Management system performance - Manage document control for the EHS ISO management system which includes periodic reviews - Coordinate internal and external ISO audits for domestic organization - Collaborate with the organization to develop and monitor measurable EHS goals and objectives to include sustainability objectives, waste reduction activities and continuous improvement initiatives. - Perform risk assessments, conduct audits and other inspections as required - Coordinate EHS corrective actions - Ensure understanding and adherence to ISO standards by providing training and support to the organization. - Provide EHS support to WI Operations satellite locations (Appleton & Coon Valley). Ensuring monthly onsite presence to proactively identify risks and conduct training. - Assist with EHS project management and oversight as assigned. Qualifications: - Knowledge of EHS Regulations and EHS ISO standards - 5+ years of applicable EHS and/or ISO experience in a manufacturing environment. - Experience in industrial safety management. - Experience with sustainability Preferred - EHS certifications a plus. - Preferred 4-year bachelor's degree in a technical field such as EHS, engineering, or science. Essential Skills - Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills and able to influence people at all levels. - Must be able to comprehend and interpret applicable EHS requirements and translate them into the ISO management system for clear understanding by the Value Steam Managers and employees. - Must be able to learn and understand the business. - Must have strong process skills for standardization, continuous improvement and program management. - Must have a passion for EHS and ISO and able to translate into practical action. - Must have good problem-solving skills and experience. - Must be able to work independently and as part of a dynamic team. Physical Requirements: - Ability to move around work sites, which may include walking, standing, and climbing ladders or stairs. - Flexibility to bend, kneel, or crouch, particularly when inspecting installations or troubleshooting - Capability to lift and carry moderate weights, typically up to 50 pounds, as some equipment and materials might be heavy. - Ability to work in various environments, including offices, construction sites, and manufacturing facilities. - Willingness and ability to travel to various job sites, which may require driving or other forms of transportation
