LACOE's Head Start and Early Learning (HSEL) Division is seeking two temporary Education Specialists to join a team dedicated to guiding individuals entering and advancing in the early childhood education field. This role balances student advocacy and confidence-building with tracking, compliance, and milestone enforcement across four distinct workforce pathways to develop future early childhood educators.
Required Education and Experience
A bachelor's degree is required. A bachelor's degree with major coursework in child development, early education, education, or educational psychology is preferred.
Additional Requirements: Individuals must either possess a valid driver's license with access to private transportation or demonstrate the ability to reliably travel between job sites using alternative means.
