  • Interpret client requirements in the context of eDiscovery processes.
  • Manage client expectations regarding deliverables and timelines.
  • Conduct meetings to design project workflows for data mining related to exfiltration.
  • Advise on effective data identification and reduction methods.
  • Conduct data mining and provide detailed reports to clients.
  • Oversee case closure and data destruction after project completion.
  • Stay up to date and achieve expertise in evolving eDiscovery/Cyber technologies.

Job Description:

Position Summary

Epiq's Cyber Incident Response group is responsible for managing and overseeing review of data exfiltrated in cyber incidents to identify, extract, and report on the individuals whose personal identifying information (PII) and protected health information (PHI) were compromised. Successful candidates must have a professional background in the electronic discovery or cyber incident response industry to successfully manage multiple projects and client relationships in a fast-paced environment. The Project Manager is responsible for initiating new engagement, coordinating data transfer, and performing data identification & reduction processes. Epiq is looking for candidates that are eager to be the face of the business to our customers, and enjoy working with advanced technology.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the first point of contact for clients at the start of every engagement
  • Facilitate transferring data between external parties and Epiq
  • Lead kick-off calls and provide consultative advice on Cyber Incident Response to customers
  • Understand and interpret client requirements within the context of eDiscovery/Cyber Incident Response processes.
  • Determine and manage client expectations regarding deliverables and timeframes
  • Conduct project design meetings and consult with clients on the development and implementation of efficient and effective workflows for data mining and capture related to data exfiltration
  • Consult customers on the best data identification and reduction methodologies
  • Perform data mining processes and report detailed, accurate results to customers
  • Coordinate case closure and data destruction for completed engagements
  • Learn and become an expert in constantly evolving advanced eDiscovery/Cyber Incident Response technologies
  • Perform other special projects as defined by management


Qualifications:
  • Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience in eDiscovery Project Management (or equivalent)
  • Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience working with Relativity as a Project Manager
  • Candidates must have exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including experience leading conference calls and meetings with colleagues and clients
  • Knowledge of the eDiscovery Reference Model (EDRM)
  • Working knowledge on Media Collections, Processing, Hosting, Review Support and Productions
  • Candidates must be able to manage an active and fluctuating caseload
  • Ideal candidates will have experience in Canopy or other advanced eDiscovery/Cyber tools, such as Technology Assisted Review
  • Ideal candidates will have previous experience in Cyber Incident Response
  • Ideal candidates will have a desire to go above and beyond client expectations


The Compensation range for this role is 100,000 to 115,000 USD per year and may be eligible for an annual bonus.
