Job Identification
  • Job Title: Early Intervention Coordinator
  • Reports to: Director of Early Intervention
  • Employment type: Full-time, full calendar year. This position will work 261 days per year.

Job Summary:The Early Intervention Coordinator supports the supervision and leadership of the Early On program, ensuring the provision of high-quality, compliant, and family-centered home visiting services across Ottawa County. This role is responsible for promoting best practices in home visitation, monitoring program data and compliance, supporting professional development, and guiding continuous program improvement aligned with IDEA Part C and Part B regulations.

Essential Job Functions
  • Coordinate and support the Early On program using a year-round calendar.
  • Promote fidelity to the Primary Service Provider (PSP) model through team meetings, reflective supervision, and visit observations.
  • Collaborate on staff professional development and lead program improvement initiatives.
  • Provide coaching and feedback grounded in best practices in home visiting.
  • Maintain deep knowledge of special education law, including IDEA Part C and Part B, and guide program compliance.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Support the coordination of Early On services and staff in collaboration with the Assistant Director.
  • Observe home visits and provide reflective feedback aligned with best practices.
  • Attend and contribute to team meetings to support implementation of the PSP model.
  • Coordinate and/or deliver professional learning opportunities.
  • Assist in guiding the Early Childhood Improvement Team.
  • Monitor program compliance, including IFSPs and student data in MiPSE.
  • Support smooth transitions between Early On and local school district programs.
  • Lead implementation of the TS GOLD curriculum in Early On.
  • Offer consultation regarding eligibility, evaluations, IFSPs, IEPs, and LRE.
  • Maintain flexible work hours to meet family and staff needs.
  • Take initiative in identifying and resolving program needs and challenges.


Education and Experience:
  • Master's Degree in Special Education or related field (Speech Therapy, Social Work, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, School Psychology, etc.) required.
  • Minimum 3-5 years experience in Special Education, Early Childhood, or a related field.

Certifications:
  • Special Education Administrative Certificate preferred.

  • Work is often performed in-person in office and client home environments.

Compensation & Employment Details:
  • Salary: $80,600-$104,000 commensurate with experience.
  • Schedule: 1.0 FTE, Year-round calendar, 261 days
