Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in industrial electrical and instrumentation estimating
• Experience with competitive bids up to $20M in heavy industrial environments
• Field experience in Electrical and Instrumentation preferred
• Strong grasp of estimating strategies and techniques
• Ability to create estimates from incomplete data
• Deep understanding of construction industry standards and practices
• Familiarity with estimating software tools
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to professional integrity and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates based on project specifications and documentation
• Solicit and obtain quotes from suppliers and subcontractors
• Manage distribution and control of bid documents
• Develop and establish project construction schedules
• Identify indirect costs and special project requirements
• Ensure completion and accuracy of all bid forms
• Lead bid review meetings with management to finalize strategies
• Coordinate team involvement during large proposal processes.
