This opportunity resides with All-Domain Operations (ADO), a business group within HII's Mission Technologies division. All-Domain Operations comprises multi-domain operations, platforms and logistics, and intelligence operations.

HII designs, develops, integrates and manages the sensors, systems and other assets necessary to support integrated ISR operations and accelerated decision-making. With data fusion and mission management capabilities for the Department of Defense, the combatant commands and the intelligence community, HII advances the mission around the globe.

Job Description

HII Mission Technologies is seeking a quality military veteran or IC Agency counterpart to join our team supporting our customer operations in the Fort Meade, MD area. This position is for a Due Diligence Analyst (Mission Assurance 3) supporting a complex program, for a Combatant Command (CCMD).

  • The Due Diligence Analyst will support research and analysis efforts in support of a DOD customer.
  • The applicant will operate in a Joint and or DoD unique environment.
  • Execute both scheduled and unscheduled Assessment, Risk Management, and Due Diligence assessments across diverse plans, platforms, programs, and operational functions.
  • Supports task areas while coordinating closely with engagement team management and client leadership on strategy, planning, execution, status, and review processes.
  • Adapts to a changing client environment while meeting client expectations
  • Manages priorities and works effectively to initiate correspondence and task completion. Supports multiple efforts through flexible multi-task coordination
  • Provides summary recommendations to team leadership regarding assigned work stream
  • Applies fundamental industry knowledge and standards to support client reviews, improvements, and/or implementations
  • Prepares presentations, briefings, and actively participates in client meetings and day-to-day interactions
  • Communicates with team management through effective status reporting and demonstrates ownership and accountability for assigned task areas and work products
  • Establishes professional rapport with clients and other organizations
  • Evaluates work products for technical accuracy, deliverable quality, and overall value to the client
  • Attends relevant training, business seminars, and/or conferences to stay current with technical skills that align with client's needs and changes in the industry


Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Familiarity with current DoD policies regarding Risk Management is required.
  • Computer literate, with a strong understanding of Social Media analysis, and proficiency in Microsoft applications.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Self-starter who proactively iniates projects, identifies issues and develops sloutions in real-time with limited supervision.
  • Position supports multiple mission partners; incumbent must be able to travel within the continental US and OCONUS locations as required.
  • Position is located at Fort Meade, MD


Minimum Qualifications

5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 0 years experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience.
  • Must be a graduate of the JCITA FOSS course or 3-letter agency equivalent
  • JCITA Due Diligence Course graduate or equivalent course
  • 5+ years of Due Diligence experience.
  • Knowledge of various open source, digital behaviors, and common platforms utilized in one or more Combatant Command's Areas of Responsibility
  • Experience within the Intelligence Community, CCMDs (J2X/3X), CI/HUMINT/SOF
  • MUST possess a current TS security clearance with SCI eligibility and Counterintelligence scope polygraph.

Physical Requirements

May require working in an office, industrial, shipboard, or laboratory environment. Capable of climbing ladders and tolerating confined spaces and extreme temperature variances.
