Required Skills:
- 3+ years of professional experience as a Data or Business Intelligence Analyst
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with complex SQL development, including CTEs, subqueries, joins, window functions, and data modeling
- 2+ years of experience building and managing Power BI and/or Spotfire dashboards
- Strong understanding of relational databases and data visualization best practices
- Proficiency in Excel for data analysis
- Ability to work independently and communicate complex findings effectively
Nice to Have Skills:
- Knowledge of upstream oil & gas metrics and operations
- Experience with OpenWells, Landmark, or PPDM-based systems
- Programming skills in Python or R for advanced analytics
- Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps)
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS
- Knowledge of data version control (Git, Azure DevOps)
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Finance, or a related field
- 3+ years supporting operations or engineering teams in a data-centric environment
Other Requirements:
- Ability to work a hybrid schedule in downtown Denver, CO (Tuesday-Thursday in-office, remainder remote)
- Experience with drill and completions data, operational KPIs, and asset hierarchies is highly desirable
- Must have or be willing to obtain relevant certifications as appropriate
