Full Job Description
Dosimetrist I - Radiation Oncology (Full-Time)

As a Dosimetrist I in Radiation Oncology, the primary responsibilities involve performing CT simulation and treatment planning using 3-dimensional computer-assisted techniques. Under the guidance of a staff physicist, the role includes conducting general patient dosimetry, incorporating hand calculations for external beam therapy, and calculating doses for irregularly shaped fields. Additionally, the Dosimetrist I prepares Total Body Irradiation data for treatment and conducts quality assurance checks on the treatment planning system to ensure accuracy and safety in radiation therapy procedures.

Tentative Schedule: Full-time staff may work up to three days per week remotely. Eligibility for remote work begins upon completion of onboarding, competency validation, and demonstrated assimilation into team workflows. Because training needs differ, no predetermined timeframe is assigned. Operational or staffing requirements may necessitate increased on-site presence to ensure adequate departmental coverage.

As a successful candidate, you will:
