DEPARTMENT: Production

LOCATION: Onsite

REPORTS TO: SVP, Product

The Role:

The Domestic Production Manager will oversee domestic production execution from development through final delivery, ensuring products are produced on time, meet SET Active quality standards, and align with business priorities.

This role serves as the key connection point between Production, Product Development, Design, Planning, and factory partners-managing timelines, resolving production challenges, maintaining visibility into production status, and driving quality and operational excellence.

What You'll Own:

Production Management & Execution
  • Maintain the company production calendar, ensuring development and production milestones are achieved on schedule.
  • Partner with the Head of Production and Production team to establish daily priorities and action plans based on business needs.
  • Provide regular production updates, end-of-day reporting, and visibility into progress, risks, and missed goals.
  • Proactively communicate production issues, delays, and concerns to leadership and support solutions.
  • Identify production roadblocks and partner with leadership to implement process improvements.
  • Monitor delivery timelines into the distribution center and communicate any delays or issues.
  • Support off-calendar requests, special orders, and direct shipments by preparing projected delivery timelines.

Factory & Vendor Management
  • Manage day-to-day relationships with domestic factories and dye houses from pre-production through final production.
  • Serve as SET Active's point person at the factory level, providing visibility into production status, quality, and potential risks.
  • Partner closely with factory teams to maintain quality standards and ensure production goals are met.
  • Coordinate vendor drop-offs, pickups, and production-related logistics as needed.
  • Maintain strong communication with suppliers and escalate any concerns or unusual issues to the Head of Production.

Production Tracking & Documentation
  • Maintain accurate production documentation, including tech packs, BOMs, fabric charts, and development records.
  • Own and maintain WIP trackers, ensuring accuracy at the factory level.
  • Maintain lab dip trackers and ensure all approvals, updates, and information are current.
  • Review packing lists for accuracy prior to distribution center delivery and communicate discrepancies to suppliers and SET HQ.
  • Verify order details, inventory records, and supporting documentation for accuracy.

Quality Control
  • Oversee quality control for all domestically produced goods throughout the production lifecycle.
  • Conduct factory-level QC inspections during production and on finished goods prior to polybagging.
  • Identify and communicate quality issues, partnering with the Head of Production and factory teams on resolution.
  • Ensure products meet SET Active standards across sewing, fabric, dye, construction, and overall workmanship.
  • Document production deficiencies, errors, and quality concerns through detailed reports.
  • Prepare damage reports related to sewing, dye, fabric, and production issues.


Who You Are:
  • 3+ years of experience in apparel production, product development, or a related field.

  • Strong understanding of apparel production workflows, including development through final delivery.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
