Responsibilities
• Represent clients in divorce and family law cases, ensuring their rights and interests are protected.
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategies and client advisement.
• Draft, review, and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and agreements, with precision and clarity.
• Negotiate settlements and agreements, striving for favorable outcomes that align with clients' goals.
• Collaborate with clients to gather necessary information and evidence, fostering a transparent and trusting relationship.
• Advocate for clients in court hearings and trials, presenting compelling arguments and evidence.
• Stay updated on family law developments and trends to provide informed and strategic counsel to clients and the firm team members alike.
Qualifications
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Active license and in good standing with the Florida State Bar.
• Minimum 3-5 years of litigation experience, preferably in family law.
• Superior research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to think strategically.
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Empathetic communicator with a client-first mindset.
• Familiarity with Florida state court rules and procedures.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (background).
