Division Manager (Florida)Location: Jacksonville, Gainesville, Ocala or Orlando- Florida
Purpose: In this role, you'll be responsible for developing and managing a team of field sales professionals within your assigned division. Your focus will be to work closely with your sales team to drive performance and achieve results aligned with the company's overall objectives. As Division Manager, you will oversee a geographic territory with an expected annual gross revenue target of approximately $56 million-and you'll be personally accountable for the success and outcomes within that territory.
Responsibilities: - Ensure that assigned Trade Marketing Representatives meet objectives related to product sales, distribution, visibility, and inventory management- while adhering to retail agreements and staying within allocated promotional budgets. Effectively plan, communicate, and align sales goals and objectives with the overall strategy
- Provide strong field leadership by training, developing, and evaluating the performance of Sales Representatives within your territory. Your goal is to enhance productivity, efficiency, and overall effectiveness, while also identifying high-potential team members for future growth and advancement opportunities.
- Maintain regular communication with distributors to ensure product availability, secure orders, and foster strong customer relationships. Focus on enhancing customer satisfaction and building long-term partnerships.
- Implement retail and wholesale promotional activities to increase brand awareness and engage potential customers and consumers with our products.
- People Management
Recruit, inspire, and mentor the team, both directly and indirectly reporting to you, while fostering their professional growth and development.
Requirements: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 5 to 7 years of sales experience
- At least 2 years of management experience
- Proven experience in handling large, complex sales
- Fluency in English
- Proficient in computer applications, particularly the Office Suite
- Strong commercial acumen
- Excellent communication skills
- Effective selling skills
- Solid knowledge of Synergy (reporting & data)
- Strong analytical abilities
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a high-performing sales team
- Skilled negotiator with a focus on problem-solving and resolution
- Capable of lifting up to 25 pounds and holding a valid driver's license
