DIVISION Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) Manager

Position Summary:
  • The Division SIOP Manager is a high-visibility leadership role responsible for building, deploying, and maturing the Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning process across all platforms. This role will lead the development of an integrated, data-driven planning framework that aligns customer demand, supply capability, inventory strategy, financial objectives, and operational execution.
  • The Manager will influence across the executive leadership team and work cross-functionally with Operations, Supply Chain, Sales, Finance, Quality, Engineering, and Program Management to drive enterprise alignment, improve forecast accuracy, reduce volatility, and strengthen execution discipline. This position will have direct report(s) and will be accountable for establishing standard work, governance, analytics, and performance management across the SIOP process.
Responsibilities:

SIOP Strategy & Governance
  • Build and implement a scalable SIOP process from the ground up across all platforms
  • Establish enterprise-wide SIOP governance, cadence, standard work, and decision-making forums
  • Partner with executive leadership to align demand, supply, inventory, capacity, and financial plans
  • Drive executive-level visibility to risks, constraints, trade-offs, and required decisions
  • Lead monthly SIOP reviews and ensure clear accountability for actions, owners, and outcomes
Demand & Supply Alignment
  • Lead cross-functional alignment of customer demand, aftermarket requirements, production capacity, supplier capability, and inventory strategy
  • Improve forecast accuracy through enhanced demand sensing, historical trend analysis, market intelligence, and customer input
  • Partner with Sales, Program Management, and Finance to ensure demand plans reflect customer priorities and business objectives
  • Work with Operations and Supply Chain to translate demand into executable supply and capacity plan
  • Identify and mitigate demand and supply imbalances across short-, mid-, and long-term planning horizons
Capacity & Constraint Management
  • Develop visibility to constrained capacity across internal operations, suppliers, people, equipment, and material availability
  • Partner with Operations leaders to build and maintain capacity models by platform, value stream, and critical work center
  • Lead constraint identification, escalation, and recovery planning to improve schedule adherence and customer delivery
  • Ensure SIOP outputs are integrated with master scheduling, production planning, procurement, and inventory management processes
Data Analytics & Performance Management
  • Build and leverage analytics, dashboards, and reporting tools to support fact-based decision-making
  • Establish key SIOP metrics, including forecast accuracy, schedule adherence, inventory performance, past due, capacity utilization, and supply risk
  • Use data to identify trends, gaps, risks, and opportunities across demand, supply, inventory, and execution performance
  • Present insights, recommendations, and action plans to leadership in a clear and concise manner
Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Influence and align stakeholders across Operations, Supply Chain, Sales, Finance, Quality, Engineering, and Program Management
  • Serve as a key integration point between commercial priorities, operational capability, and financial commitments
  • Drive accountability across functions to ensure plans are realistic, executable, and aligned to business goals
  • Lead change management efforts to embed SIOP as a core business operating process
People Leadership
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of direct reports responsible for demand planning, supply planning, analytics, and SIOP execution.
  • Build organizational capability through talent development, standard work, training, and performance management.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, collaboration, and data-driven decision-making.
Process Improvement
  • Identify and implement best practices to improve planning maturity, forecasting accuracy, inventory performance, and execution stability.
  • Drive continuous improvement in planning tools, processes, reporting, and governance.
  • Support lean enterprise principles by reducing waste, improving flow, and enabling more predictable operational performance.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience leading SIOP, demand planning, supply planning, operations planning, or integrated business planning processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to build or significantly mature planning processes across complex, multi-platform or multi-site environments.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence senior leaders and drive alignment across functions.
  • Deep understanding of demand planning, capacity planning, inventory management, master scheduling, supply chain execution, and operational performance.
  • Strong analytical capability with experience using data to drive business decisions.
  • Proficiency with ERP, planning, and analytics tools such as SAP, Oracle, Power BI, Tableau, Excel, or similar platforms.
  • Experience leading teams and developing planning talent.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and change management skills.
  • Ability to operate strategically while also driving tactical execution and issue resolution.
  • Lean enterprise mindset with a focus on standard work, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
Education & Experience Requirements
  • Education requirement: Bachelor's degree required; Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business, Engineering, Finance, or related discipline preferred | Master's degree or MBA preferred.
  • Year of experience required:10+ years of progressive experience in SIOP, supply chain, operations planning, demand planning, or related leadership roles.
  • Prior people leadership experience required.
  • Experience working in a complex manufacturing, aerospace, industrial, or engineered-products environment preferred.

Pay, Benefits, Work Schedule

Competitive Compensation
  • Pay Range: $122,910 to $215,170 annually
  • Participation in Annual Incentive Program
