Repsol is hiring a Division Order Analyst to support the Land Business Unit, to be based onsite from our office in The Woodlands, TX.

Position Title: Division Order Analyst

Department: Land

Reports to: Division Order Supervisor

Location: This role is to be supported onsite from the Repsol office located in The Woodlands, Texas. Following the initial training period, the position is eligible for our hybrid schedule, with manager approval. The schedule may be adjusted as needed based on business needs or individual performance.

Position Overview and Responsibilities

  • Review of Title Opinions, Title related documents, Agreements and Oil and Gas Leases.
  • Ensure curative requirements are met prior to distribution of revenue
  • Monitor and maintain Suspense files during resolution and release
  • Process conveyances and address updates
  • Create and maintain division of interests and corresponding joint interest billing and revenue (pay) decks including marketing burden groups and BPO and APO decks when necessary
  • Ensure all Division Order records are updated timely for infill wells and process unit reformations within Division Order Land system
  • Complex analysis of complicated calculations of interest, including but not limited to apportionment, ORRI, NRI, and DOI
  • Thorough review of Pooling Declarations, Unit Tabulations, and create working interest NRI/burden spreadsheets when required
  • Verify company owned interests on any outside operated division order
  • Ensure partners and landowners are sent appropriate land documents to support revenue/royalty interest
  • Assist with projects requiring research, analysis, and interface with different departments
  • Review of funds to be escheated and assist with unclaimed property audits when required
  • Respond to internal and revenue/royalty owner inquiry communications.
  • Workflow and Revenue Distribution Sheet (RDS) tracking; Monthly RDS processing by Division Order cutoff
  • Submit Master Data vendor requests and updates
  • Create, organize, and maintain electronic Division Order files
  • Provide updates to Supervisor for weekly and monthly department reports
  • Participate in weekly development and department meetings
  • Responsible for monthly monitoring of all Division Order data integrity reports

Required Education, Experience, Technical Qualifications

  • Full U.S. work authorization without restrictions, conditions, or current/future sponsorship.
  • High School Degree or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of relevant oil & gas experience
  • Professional certifications related to land management preferred, but not required
  • Strong technical acumen with MS Office suite
  • Experience working the Marcellus Shale in Pennsylvania and an understanding of applicable laws within that State
  • Experience with SAP PRA and Quorum (QDO)
  • Experience with Power Bi preferable
  • Knowledge interpreting lease language for royalty provisions
