Full Job Description
WHAT YOU WILL DO

The primary purpose of this position is to provide support to develop, administer and monitor an assigned area's new and used vehicle sales, programs, incentives and promotions consistent with the achievement of meeting the Company's targets. This position is also responsible for establishing standards that support dealers' initiatives necessary to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty and ensuring sufficient market representation within the assigned area.

The successful candidate may be based out of Alberta, Manitoba, or Saskatchewan.

HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT

  • Provide business-planning support to the Company's dealer network new and used vehicle business to deliver upon the corporate objectives.
  • Administer within an assigned area the distribution planning, allocation and forecasting activities, to ensure wholesale and market share objectives are achieved.
  • Achievement of Sales Satisfaction Index (SSI) metrics within the assigned area.
  • Administer all customer satisfaction and loyalty processes and variance monitoring.
  • Monitor Dealer operations, in accordance with Dealer Agreements.
  • Support Assistant Zone Manager, Sales with dealership succession planning.
  • Delivery of qualified candidates to close open points within the assigned Zone.
  • Coordinate training and certification activities within the dealership as it relates to the sales, leasing and financing of new and used vehicles.
  • Coordinate corporate Marketing association activities.
  • Back up the Assistant Zone Manager, Sales during absences from the office.


WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE

  • Completion of an undergraduate degree or an equivalent combination of experience and education
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience in same or similar function with automotive experience being desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Superior presentation skills
  • Exemplary collaboration skills
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Solid business systems analysis skills
  • Experience in automotive industry preferred
  • Ability to work independently and travel on a regular basis
