Position Summary

This position is responsible for driving and supporting sales activities in a predefined region of Calgary, Edmonton & surrounding areas including building, supporting and growing strong customer relationships with existing and new customers by offering professional, effective and efficient solutions that meet customer needs, and established sales objectives and targets. Participates in driving a growth culture and high performing sales team by ensuring continuous improvement and evolution, resulting in superior service to our customers.

This position is based in Calgary, AB.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, manage, and grow a robust sales pipeline through prospecting, relationship development, referrals, networking, and market engagement activities while driving sales growth within the assigned territory
  • Conduct regular territory planning and market mapping activities to identify high-potential accounts, influencers, projects, and referral sources
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, builders, developers, contractors, and other industry influencers through regular engagement, educational presentations, and networking activities.
  • Promote and sell products to Architects, Designers, Builders, Contractors, and direct to homeowners
  • Drive growth within assigned territory against established targets (units sold, booked orders, margins) on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis
  • Offer prompt, professional, effective, and efficient solutions to customer inquiries
  • Provide quotations, technical support, literature, and other support/materials for customers
  • Develop new customer potential by examining market opportunities and potential customer needs, tailoring products and services, and selling solutions
  • Conduct showroom product presentations with existing and prospective customers
  • Follow and be accountable for the established sales process, including but not limited to:
    • Lead Creation/Tracking
    • Develop new business
    • Collecting project information to provide right product/quote
    • Quote creation & presentation
    • Ongoing tracking of quotes & follow up
    • Site visits as required
  • Operate collaboratively with assigned Project Managers ensuring superior customer experience
  • Serve all customers, prospects and industry influencers with best-in-class service, product knowledge
  • Ongoing reporting of:
    • Sales Activity within assigned system (weekly)
    • Lead & Contact maintenance within CRM (ongoing)
    • Expenses (monthly)
    • Industry activity (ongoing)
    • Sales forecasts (ongoing)
    • Project progress worthy of marketing's attention for content used in social media/marketing collateral
  • Operate collaboratively with other departments to ensure smooth internal customer hand off, including but not limited to:
    • Inside Sales Team
    • Warranty & Maintenance Team
    • Install Team
    • Engineering Department
    • Marketing
  • Participate in Trade Shows and Events as needed
  • Support new employee on-boarding, training and development
  • Other duties as required
