Responsibilities- Leads and advises on HR programs, policies, practices, and compliance for assigned client groups.
- Builds strong partnerships with leaders, providing guidance on employee relations, performance management, workforce planning, and team effectiveness.
- Participates in district HR planning and leads district-level projects and initiatives from development through execution and evaluation.
- Leads district Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) committee initiatives, supporting inclusive practices and employee engagement.
- Coaches leaders and employees on career management, including goal setting, development planning, and employee growth.
- Supports employee relations and performance management matters, applying sound judgment to resolve complex people issues and recommend practical solutions.
- Supports the execution of annual HR cycles (performance, talent review, succession, and compensation programs) to ensure consistency and alignment across client groups.
- Develops and maintains strong customer-focused relationships with stakeholders across the district.
Qualifications- Bachelor's in HR or related field preferred; HR designation preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience.
- Strong knowledge of HR practices, policies, and employment legislation.
- Contributes to team effectiveness by supporting shared priorities and taking on new challenges and development opportunities.
- Demonstrates flexibility and resilience while managing competing priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Proven ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion.
