QUALIFICATIONS/ABILITIES: - Bachelor's degree in Operations, Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, Engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent experience may substitute.
- 8+ years of progressive distribution or warehouse leadership experience, with significant responsibility for large teams and high-volume operations.
- Demonstrated experience managing labor, productivity, service, quality, safety, inventory, transportation, and operating cost.
- Strong financial literacy and ability to support and influence P&L performance.
- Strong customer orientation with experience translating customer requirements and SLAs into operating priorities.
- Working knowledge of OSHA expectations, safety programs, warehouse systems, WMS processes, labor planning, and continuous improvement.
- Proven ability to lead managers, establish accountability, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES - HOW THIS POSITION SUPPORTS THE VISION - Own day-to-day end-to-end Distribution Center performance in partnership with the Director of Distribution and COO.
- Support the P&L through disciplined labor planning, productivity management, cost control, service performance, inventory stewardship, and capital utilization.
- Own customer satisfaction outcomes through shipping time, order accuracy, SLA achievement, issue resolution, and operating reliability.
- Lead performance across safety, productivity, labor, quality, customer service, inventory, transportation, vendor relationships, and maintenance readiness.
- Set and manage operating plans for staffing, capacity, peak volume, overtime, cross-training, and contingency response.
- Lead the seven functional managers and ensure clear daily priorities, escalation paths, and cross-functional coordination.
- Partner with Supply Chain, Sales, Customer Service, Finance, HR, IT, Quality, and other stakeholders to resolve systemic issues and support growth.
- Oversee vendor management and performance where vendors directly impact DC operations or customer service.
- Maintain a disciplined KPI operating rhythm and ensure corrective actions are owned, tracked, and closed.
- Partner with the Director on capital planning, strategic growth, facility capacity, automation, and long-range operating needs.
• Protects company assets ensuring all equipment is used and maintained properly.
• Maintains awareness of cost-saving initiatives and process improvements.
• Adheres to all security and safety rules and regulations to ensure a safe environment for all Associates.
• Assist in any task requested by either the direct Manager or any person in Management.

INDICATORS OF PERFORMANCE - Cost per unit at or better than approved operating plan.
- Inventory accuracy maintained at established Fait target with timely resolution of discrepancies.
- OSHA recordables and workplace injuries managed against approved safety goals; corrective actions completed on time.
- Overtime percentage within approved plan while service and productivity commitments are met.
- Customer SLA and on-time shipping performance consistently meet or exceed commitments.
- Labor productivity and utilization meet or exceed established standards.
- Quality defects, shorts, damages, and customer-impacting errors trend downward.
- Employee engagement and retention indicators improve, with action plans for identified gaps.
- Capital and strategic growth initiatives are delivered with clear ROI and operational readiness.
IMPROVING THE SYSTEM - All Fait Associates are responsible for documenting and fixing problems within the system. In addition, this role is responsible for improvement project participation, planning, communicating and implementing solutions within the scope of the position.
PERSONAL IMPROVEMENT - Fait will provide resources and support, relevant to the position, for education and training as needed. It is the Associate's responsibility to seek approval, schedule and participate in education and/or training that will prepare him/her for present and future needs. A post-training recap may be required.
