What you will enjoy doing*- You will drive operational and financial results by leading distribution productivity initiatives and cost-reduction strategies that improve service levels, operational performance, and budget attainment
- You will utilize structured problem-solving methodologies to identify opportunities, achieve cost-savings targets, and present data-driven recommendations to leadership
- You will analyze distribution operations, transportation performance, productivity metrics, and plant-to-customer delivery performance to identify cost, service, and efficiency improvement opportunities
- Additionally, you will design, develop, and interpret reports and dashboards using PALS, PeopleNet, OBIEE, Cognos, TRE reports, and other business intelligence tools to identify trends, performance gaps, and actionable insights
- Furthermore, you will monitor real-time operational and financial performance throughout the month, proactively identifying risks, validating results, and supporting budget achievement
- Partner with Procurement, Logistics, Distribution Operations, Suppliers, Field Locations, and Regional Distribution Managers to implement sustainable cost-reduction initiatives, improve operational performance, and drive cross-functional process improvements
- Lead corrective actions and continuous improvement efforts by identifying, documenting, and replicating successful Distribution Value Stream projects across multiple regions and business units while challenging the status quo and promoting operational excellence
- Lastly, communicate project findings, recommendations, and progress updates to leadership while translating strategic business objectives into actionable plans, measurable outcomes, and long-term sustainable results
What makes you great - You will bring a BA or BS degree along with 4+ years of logistics and/or distribution experience supporting operational performance and business objectives
- You will apply strong problem-solving, analytical, and multitasking skills to evaluate data, identify opportunities, and support effective decision-making
- You will leverage strong interpersonal and communication skills to influence stakeholders, lead change initiatives, and drive measurable results across the organization
- Additionally, you will demonstrate advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency, including Pivot Tables, Power Query, and other data analysis tools to support reporting and business insights
- Furthermore, you will utilize SQL or other database querying tools to extract, analyze, and interpret operational and financial data
- You will work with business intelligence platforms such as Cognos, OBIEE, Power BI, or Tableau to develop reporting solutions and deliver data-driven recommendations
- Additionally, you will apply an understanding of transportation and distribution financials, including general ledger analysis, budgeting, cost management, and performance measurement
- Lastly, experience with Lean, Continuous Improvement, Six Sigma, or Value Stream Mapping methodologies is preferred to support process optimization and sustainable operational improvements

Pay commensurate with experience. Open to salary range $76,500 - $112,200.
