Role Description:

The Distinguished Engineer is a top-tier technical leader responsible for shaping Syniti's long-term technology vision and ensuring we remain at the forefront of data solutions and enterprise software innovation. This role operates beyond an individual contributor scope, serving as a strategic advisor to engineering leadership, product teams, and business stakeholders. Distinguished Engineers lead org-wide technology decisions, drive high-stakes innovation, and influence global industry best practices. They are also visible external though leaders, representing Syniti at conferences, open-source communities, and technical forums. Their contributions have far-reaching impact, improving platform scalability, security, and architecture - ultimately driving revenue growth and competitive differentiation.

Primary Responsibilities:

Technology Leadership & Strategy
• Define and drive Syniti's long-term technical strategy and innovation roadmap
• Architect high-scale, mission-critical platforms with enterprise-grade security and performance
• Lead organization-wide technical initiatives that drive competitive advantage

Business & Product Impact
• Partner with C-level executives and product leaders to align technical strategy with business objectives
• Shape engineering investment decisions that accelerate revenue growth and customer success
• Identify and resolve scalability, security, and reliability risks at an organizational level

Industry Influence & Thought Leadership
• Represent Syniti in external technology forums, standards bodies, and open-source initiatives
• Publish white papers, research findings, or patents to advance industry knowledge
• Speak at conferences, events, and executive roundtables to establish Syniti as a leader in enterprise data solutions

Mentorship & Organizational Growth
• Mentor and develop engineers at all levels, fostering technical excellence and leadership
• Establish and drive engineering best practices, technical standards, and methodologies
• Influence hiring, talent development, and technical upskilling across the organization

Requirements:

Experience & Expertise
• 10+ years of software development experience, including 5+ years in technical leadership
• Proven experience driving large-scale, cross-team technical initiatives in enterprise SaaS or cloud platforms
• Deep expertise in distributed systems, cloud architecture (AWS preferred) , and full-stack development
• Master of Go, C#, React, TypeScript/JavaScript, SQL/NoSQL databases, and modern DevOps practices

Business & Strategic Impact
• Experience in aligning technical decisions with business and product goals
• Ability to evaluate and prioritize technology investments for maximum ROI
• Strong track record of influencing executives, product teams, and external stakeholders

• Contributions to open-source projects, patents, or technical publications
