Full Job Description
As a Dispensing Pharmacist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications for patients within a community pharmacy setting. Your primary objective will be to dispense prescription medications accurately while providing expert advice on their proper use, potential side effects, and interactions. You will serve as a trusted healthcare professional, collaborating with patients, healthcare providers, and pharmacy staff to optimize therapeutic outcomes. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining compliance with all regulatory requirements and pharmacy policies to uphold the highest standards of patient safety. Your role will also involve managing inventory, counseling patients on over-the-counter products, and contributing to health promotion initiatives within the community.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Valid and active pharmacist license in the state of practice within the United States.
  • Strong knowledge of pharmacology, drug interactions, and pharmacy law.
  • Experience with pharmacy management systems and electronic health records.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience working in a retail pharmacy setting.
  • Certification in immunization delivery (e.g., APhA Immunization Certification).
