Description

As the Director of Platform UX, you will lead the strategic vision and design of our core health data platforms, creating intuitive and cohesive experiences for developers, researchers, and healthcare professionals. Your work will directly advance our mission by ensuring our AI-enabled solutions are user-centric, accessible, and seamlessly integrated into the broader healthcare ecosystem.

Responsibilities
  • Drive the overarching user experience strategy and product design for our data platform, aligning design initiatives with broader organizational objectives and championing user-centric design.
  • Guide the work of the team by influencing the product roadmap, quarterly resource planning, and meeting creative and technical requirements.
  • Manage a team of UX designers by fostering a strong user-focused culture, inspired by humanity, empathy, and humility, and driven by Product Excellence principles.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product management, data science, and clinical teams to translate complex technical requirements into polished, user-friendly interfaces.
  • Champion design systems and best practices to ensure consistency, accessibility, and scalability across all platform products.


Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in UX design for complex enterprise, B2B, or platform software products.
  • 5+ years of experience managing and leading design teams.
  • Portfolio demonstrating ability to work across the product development process, from establishing strong UX strategy and conceptual foundations to successfully launching scalable platform or enterprise products.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Past work that focuses on Enterprise products, Healthcare, Medical services, or data-intensive technical platforms.
  • Strong understanding of AI, machine learning, and data visualization principles.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and collaboration skills; a systems thinker with the ability to communicate complex concepts effectively across a broad range of audiences, and galvanize different opinions around a shared objective.
  • Proven ability to navigate ambiguity and drive strategic direction in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Familiarity with building, maintaining, and scaling comprehensive design systems.


The Canada base salary range for this full-time position is CAD $207,500 - $233,500 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
