As Director, you will lead the UX Strategy and be responsible for the "how" and the "why" behind our digital ecosystem, fostering a culture of design excellence, empathy for our users, and rigorous UI craft.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define a long-term user experience and user interface vision that aligns with Groupe Dynamite’s business goals, ensuring a premium, cohesive experience across Web, App, and in-store digital touchpoints;
  • Recruit, lead, and scale a high-performing team of UX/UI designers. Foster a culture of continuous learning, curiosity and obsessive attention to detail;
  • Oversee the evolution of our Design System to ensure visual consistency, accessibility (WCAG), and engineering efficiency across all platforms;
  • Champion user research, journey mapping, and usability testing to transform complex retail challenges into elegant, conversion-focused solutions;
  • Lead a cohesive user experience across all touchpoints, upholding a meticulous standard of craft and visual excellence in every interaction;
  • Optimize design workflows, tooling, and cross-functional handoffs to increase team velocity without compromising quality;
  • Act as a strategic partner to VP-level stakeholders in Product, Digital Development, and Marketing to influence the product roadmap through a user-centric lens;
  • Translate quantitative data (A/B testing, heatmaps) and qualitative insights into actionable design pivots that drive measurable ROI.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of professional experience in digital product design, with at least 4+ years in a senior leadership role managing multi-disciplinary teams;
  • A distinguished portfolio demonstrating a mastery of high-end UI/Visual design and sophisticated UX problem-solving (specifically in E-commerce or high-growth B2C);
  • Proven ability to link design decisions to business KPIs (e.g., Average Order Value, Conversion Rate, Retention);
  • Mastery of Figma and an understanding of how to leverage AI-driven design tools to accelerate the creative process;
  • An exceptional storyteller who can articulate the "Value of Design" to non-design stakeholders and executive leadership;
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design, HCI, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).

At GDI, you will be part of a growing organization that understands the importance of investing in people and offers you:

  • A comprehensive compensation package that includes performance-driven bonuses;
