Full Job Description
Our Transaction Management team helps clients strategize, evaluate and execute real estate transactions to meet their business and occupancy needs. This role involves managing and executing complex admin and retail lease transactions, while fostering client relationships and driving business growth.

The Senior Transaction Manager will function either independently or as part of a team. The ideal candidate will manage and collaborate with professionals across various disciplines and business units, demonstrating experience in successfully managing complex projects to completion, thinking strategically, acting proactively, fostering growth of junior talent and building strong client trust and confidence.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Relationship Management
  • Assume all transaction responsibilities for the client with full-time support.
  • Provide advice on client transactions and attend regular client meetings calls.
  • Manage transaction reporting to the client and work to improve internal processes.
  • Manage building tours with the client and local brokers.

Transactions Support
  • Independently manage and execute complex, large, and mid-size transactions with high level of proficiency and knowledge for both admin and retail portfolios
  • Deliver measurable value by negotiating favorable economic and flexible lease terms for clients
  • Collaborate with other service lines on customized reporting and analytics specific to account team requirements
  • Assist clients in completing numerous transactions annually while adhering to JLL's and the client's processes and standards for expertise and professionalism
  • Actively monitor progress of assigned transactions and those of direct reports
  • Collect client requirements, obtain market data, review market reports, retain real estate broker partners nationally, oversee site selection and evaluation
  • Create requests for proposals (RFPs), negotiate letters of intent, leases, purchase and sale agreements, and prepare approval packages for client's senior management
  • Develop occupancy cost savings strategies, evaluate alternative occupancy solutions and financial structures, and refine existing transaction processes
  • Monitor and verify commission invoices for accuracy and payment status; maintain and ensure timely updates to the Dealio transaction tracking system
  • Foster growth and development of junior talent


An ideal candidate would need to have the following qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's, MBA or other advanced degree strongly preferred
  • 10-15 years of relevant work experience with at least 5-8 years as a Transaction Manager in commercial real estate
  • Proven transaction management experience with demonstrated skills in contract review and lease/purchase and sale negotiations
  • Experience working with corporate clients to achieve real estate objectives
  • Solid understanding of financial and accounting impacts
  • Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent negotiating, analytical, collaboration, organization/planning, and process management abilities
  • Strong ability to interpret and communicate business intelligence/data analytics
  • Outstanding client service skills

Estimated compensation for this position:

168,000.00 - 204,000.00 USD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
