Presently this position is in a hybrid status with a minimum of 3 days a week in the office for collaboration, teamwork, and business needs.  The status and minimum in-office requirements are subject to change based on evolving business needs.

Overview

We are seeking a Director, Talent Development & Talent Acquisition to lead our global talent strategy across both development and hiring. 

This is a high-impact role responsible for ensuring we have the right leaders, with the right capabilities, at the right time. You will shape how we attract, develop, and retain talent across the organization—building a strong leadership pipeline and aligning talent strategies to business priorities.   As a key member of our HR Leadership Team, you will work closely with the CHRO and senior leaders to drive enterprise talent outcomes and enhance organizational capability.

Responsibilities

Lead Enterprise Talent Strategy 

  • Define and execute a forward-looking talent strategy that aligns with business objectives and long-term growth plans 
  • Drive leadership pipeline strength, succession readiness, and critical capability development across the organization 
  • Partner with senior leadership to anticipate and address evolving talent needs 

Shape Talent Development & Organizational Capability 

  • Own global frameworks for performance management, talent reviews, and succession planning 
  • Design and scale leadership development programs, career pathways, and capability-building initiatives 
  • Strengthen leader effectiveness in coaching, talent assessment, and development planning 
  • Identify and address systemic capability gaps across the organization 

Build a High-Performing Talent Acquisition Function 

  • Lead Talent Acquisition for the U.S. with accountability for quality of hire, time-to-fill, and hiring manager experience 
  • Define and implement a scalable recruiting operating model aligned to workforce plans 
  • Develop innovative sourcing strategies and strengthen diverse talent pipelines 
  • Shape and elevate employer brand to compete effectively in key markets 

Own and Optimize Recruiting Infrastructure 

  • Lead global ownership of recruiting tools and platforms, including ATS, LinkedIn, and job boards 
  • Drive standardization, integration, and optimization of recruiting systems and processes 
  • Ensure strong return on investment and adoption across regions 

Influence & Drive Organizational Impact 

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on talent, succession, and organizational capability 
  • Lead enterprise talent discussions and provide data-driven insights to guide decisions 
  • Drive alignment and execution across a global, matrixed organization 
Qualifications
  • 10–15+ years of experience in talent development, organizational development, and/or talent acquisition 
  • Experience leading enterprise talent programs and strategies in a global or multi-region environment 
  • Proven ability to influence senior leaders and operate as a strategic partner 
  • Strong understanding of talent analytics, workforce planning, and capability development 
  • Experience leading or optimizing recruiting strategy, operations, and technology platforms 
  • A balance of strategic thinking and hands-on execution 

 

Salary Range:

 

$135,000 - $165,000

 

The pay range listed is for Illinois based roles.  It is not typical for a candidate to be hired at or near the top of the pay range.  Specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skill sets, qualifications, experience, education, certifications, training, and location.
