DIRECTOR- SYSTEM STRATEGIC SOURCING- PURCH & VALUE ANALYSIS to join our
SUPPLY CHAIN team!
The Director - Strategic Sourcing & Value Analysis provides enterprise-level leadership for strategic sourcing, category management, supplier relationship management, value analysis integration, contract governance, and sourcing operations across the Aspirus system.
This role is accountable for developing and executing systemwide sourcing strategies, optimizing category performance, driving measurable financial value, improving supplier performance, reducing supply risk, and enabling clinical, operational, and financial alignment across hospitals, clinics, service lines, and corporate functions.
The Director leads sourcing professionals and partners closely with clinical, financial, operational, legal, and executive stakeholders to support margin improvement, standardization, supply continuity, enterprise contracting discipline, and high-quality patient care.
Experience/Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or related field required. Master's degree preferred.
- Professional certification (CPSM, CMRP, CSCP, Lean/Six Sigma) preferred).
- Ability to travel domestically up to 25%.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing (demonstrated expertise executing structured/methodical sourcing processes), category management, contracting, supplier management, or supply chain, preferably in a healthcare system or integrated delivery network.
- 5+ years of leadership experience, including direct supervision, team development, performance management, or leadership of enterprise programs.
- Demonstrated success delivering multi-million-dollar savings, value creation, risk reduction, or comparable enterprise outcomes.
- Experience negotiating complex, high-value contracts and managing strategic supplier relationships.
- Strong background in spend analytics, utilization analysis, total cost of ownership modeling, and opportunity identification.
- Deep experience in contract governance, contract management, negotiation strategy, and compliance monitoring.
- Working knowledge of GPO relationships, healthcare contracting structures, and clinical value analysis processes.
- Proven ability to lead multi-site, cross-functional initiatives involving clinical, operational, financial, legal, and executive stakeholders.
- Annual competencies as required by Aspirus and/or various regulatory agencies based on entity and/or job position.
