Full Job Description

Overall Purpose: We are seeking a transformational supply chain leader to oversee and optimize end-to-end supply chain planning, logistics, and supply management functions for AT&T’s mobility and broadband customer orders across a complex, multi-vendor, omni-channel network. This role sits at the intersection of customer experience, operational performance, and financial management, and is responsible for managing large teams across multiple facilities to ensure efficient operations and informed personnel decisions.

Key Roles and Responsibilities: Typical tasks may include, but are not limited to, the following:

SCP & Logistics Leadership:

  • End-to-end customer order fulfillment and logistics operations, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products.

  • Inventory strategy, control, accuracy, and asset protection across the network, including forecasting, purchasing, inventory planning, and materials management.

  • Product launch readiness and execution for major device introductions, supporting new product launches and driving strategic projects for inventory optimization and distribution enhancement.

  • Warehousing, transportation, and supplier performance management, including the design, development, and implementation of supply chain planning and fulfillment strategies.

  • Operational excellence, customer experience, and cost optimization initiatives, continuously improving logistics processes to meet operational targets and enhance financial performance.

  • Strategic vendor relationships and contract management, including managing third-party logistics and supplier relationships.

  • Cross-functional alignment across Supply Chain, Technology, Finance, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Care, partnering with business units to support product planning and alignment with business roadmaps.

Operational Excellence:

  • Customers receive the right product, on time, every time, with supply chain operations that are resilient, efficient, and continuously improving.

  • Inventory is deployed efficiently, accurately tracked, and protected, with reduced inventory levels and enhanced financial performance.

  • Product launches execute flawlessly and at scale, with robust support for new product introductions.

  • Teams are engaged, accountable, and focused on results, with strong leadership, mentoring, and employee development.

  • Strategic initiatives deliver measurable customer and business value, leveraging advanced data tools, artificial intelligence, machine learning, automation, and robotics to evolve supply chain processes.

  • Risks in finance, sustainability, and compliance are mitigated, ensuring regulatory adherence and enhancing customer experience.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience leading supply chain, fulfillment, inventory management, logistics, transportation, or operations, with proven success leading large-scale, multi-site operations.

  • Strong financial, inventory, and operational leadership capabilities, with experience managing third-party logistics and supplier relationships.

  • Ability to make critical decisions in fast-paced, high-pressure environments, using advanced data tools to monitor performance and identify improvement opportunities.

  • Track record of driving transformation, innovation, and business results, leveraging technology and cross-functional leadership.

Job Contribution: This position drives the end-to-end movement of large enterprise-wide inventory from supplier to customer while ensuring inventory integrity, launch readiness, operational excellence, and superior customer experience. You’ll lead a business-critical operation with direct impact on customer satisfaction, revenue realization, and enterprise performance. As a key leader, you will influence decisions regarding hiring, personnel development, and strategic direction, ensuring the supply chain organization supports the overarching philosophy and goals of AT&T.

Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) desired with 10+ years of related experience.
