RELOCATION ASSISTANCE: Relocation assistance may be available CLEARANCE REQUIRED FOR START: Yes CLEARANCE TYPE: Secret TRAVEL: Yes, 25% of the Time Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is hiring a Director Supply Chain 1 to join Global Supply Chain and lead the Demand Planning and Delivery Management organization. This leadership position will be located in El Segundo, CA , Palmdale, CA, Rancho Bernardo, CA, Oklahoma City, OK, Melbourne, FL, or Clearfield, UT. The position will report to the Director of Common Products. The Director Supply Chain 1 will lead a diverse and geographically dispersed team of ~170 employees that includes Demand Planning, Delivery Management, as well as Engineering Property. The role will be responsible, accountable and have authority for key statements of work across the supply chain value stream, supporting all programs across the sector. The selected candidate will be an experienced leader who is agile and well equipped to partner with a wide range of stakeholders. They will need to leverage a solid understanding of supply chain processes and business systems, working closely with other GSC sub-functions to optimize performance. Execution: - Key leadership interface for GSC Senior Leaders, GSC Program Managers & other program and functional stakeholders - Provides functional leadership for an organization that executes in a highly matrixed environment - Leads process improvement initiatives and business optimization efforts - Drive affordability initiatives and opportunities for cross-sector collaboration - Adheres to all internal processes, policies, and applicable industry standards - Assists in the development and mentorship of all team members Basic Qualifications: - Bachelor’s Degree with at least 10 years of experience in supply chain management, program/project management, sustainment, proposals, procurement, demand planning, or business management OR a Master’s Degree with at least 8 years of experience in supply chain management, program/project management, sustainment, proposals, procurement, demand planning or business management - Must have business systems experience - Must have a minimum of 5 years experience leading teams - At minimum, an active U.S. Government Secret level clearance is required to apply and to start the role, with the ability to obtain and maintain U.S. Government Top Secret clearance and Special Program Accesses within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the Company to meet its business needs Preferred Qualifications: - The ability to travel 25% of time - Aerospace & Defense experience; execution in various program lifecycles - Solid understanding of supply chain metrics and key performance indicators - Robust business systems implementation and transition experience - The ability to address uncertainty with predictive data analytics Primary Level Salary Range: $151,700.00 - $278,200.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
