Job Description

The Director, Regional Security Insider & Intelligence will lead complex investigations and insider threat mitigation efforts across the Americas region for DP World. This role requires an experienced investigative professional with a strong background in corporate security or law enforcement, who can coordinate intelligence collection, conduct thorough investigations, and foster cross-functional partnerships in support of enterprise security and compliance.

Fluency in Spanish is strongly preferred due to the international scope of operations. Clearance is not required, but discretion, analytical expertise, and investigative integrity are essential.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

INSIDER RISK PROGRAM MANAGER
  • Lead and manage investigations into insider threats, supply chain security, misconduct, cargo theft, fraud, and workplace incidents across regional sites, including the U.S., Canada, and Latin America
  • Lead regional work groups (Security, HR, IT, Compliance) and BU security teams for insider risk policy
  • Provide strategic guidance, advice, and policy creation as needed for business unit security teams throughout the region
  • Conduct interviews, analyze evidence, and maintain accurate and confidential case files
  • Partner with internal stakeholders (HR, Legal, Compliance, Risk) and external
  • Prepare professional, evidence-based investigative reports and briefings for internal use
  • Provide input on policy enhancements, threat mitigation strategies, and investigative process improvements
  • Support training and awareness initiatives related to insider threats and workplace integrity
  • Participate in regional site visits, audits, and security events as needed


LIASON
  • Liaise with Law Enforcement Partners for insider risk investigations


VETTING
  • Oversee initial and continuous monitoring/vetting of regional employees and BUs


RSOC
  • Oversee Regional Security Operations Center policies & remote camera monitoring to mitigate insider risks, regional security hotline, metrics, etc.


INTEL
  • Deep web searches & Open-Source Intel searches for personnel protection & insider cases
  • Create and maintain security trend analysis and information sharing processes for the region
  • Oversee threat management and Intel including resources and systems like Everbridge, Crisis 24, and OSAC


WORKPLACE VIOLENCE
  • Head workplace violence threat unit. Expand policy & training to region. Serve as behavioral threat analysis lead


TRAVEL RISK
  • Oversee travel risk management briefings process and utilize situational awareness tools for leadership awareness


STRATEGIC & OPERATIONAL IMPACT
  • Serve as a key leader in identifying, mitigating, and responding to insider threats that impact people, operations, and assets
  • Support enterprise resilience and business continuity by resolving investigative matters efficiently and confidentially
  • Influence operational improvements through data-driven analysis of trends and incidents
  • Strengthen organizational trust and risk management across a geographically dispersed workforce


QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
  • Minimum 8+ years of experience in corporate investigations and/or law enforcement roles. 10+ years preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, Intelligence, Security Studies, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Extensive experience in investigative interviewing, evidence handling, and physical security systems (CCTV, access control)
  • Advanced OSINT skills and ability to analyze online threat indicators
  • Experience with case management systems and reporting tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Fluent or professionally proficient in Spanish (strongly preferred)
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally (~10-15%)
  • Must demonstrate high integrity and discretion in handling sensitive matters
