Job Title Director, Rewards & Mobility Operations

Division: BEST HR

Location: Tampa, FL

Reports To: VP, BEST HR & HR Excellence

What You Will Do:

This position leads a team of professionals that supports the delivery of all key compensation operational processes and initiatives, benefits plan administration, and mobility processes. This individual will work with key stakeholders - including the Payroll, Salary Planning, Data, Global Rewards, HR Tech, and HR Excellence teams - to identify efficiencies and ensure seamless execution across all Total Rewards programs. This role also serves as the primary liaison between the Rewards & Mobility team in Tampa and the Total Rewards team in NJ, ensuring alignment and continuity across all program delivery.

Compensation Operations:
  • Partner with Compensation Business Partnering team and the global COE to prepare and launch the Year-End Review (YER) cycle, monitoring progress throughout - including system configuration, salary range structure development, issue resolution, and post-process analysis to identify opportunities for improvement and efficiency.
  • Partner with Compensation Business Partnering and the global COE to prepare and launch the ACAS/LOREP nomination process, including budget preparation, spreadsheet creation, nomination consolidation, and global reporting through beqom.
  • Partner with key global and local partners to manage the ACAS vesting process and identify and implement opportunities for process improvement.
  • Calculation and processing of short- and long-term incentives for active and terminated employees.
  • Complete global and local reporting and analysis, including fair pay, pay equity, and country-level reporting.
  • Serve as the primary US point of contact for global compensation system tools, including beqom, ensuring system configuration, testing, and deployment are executed accurately and on time for all key compensation cycles.
  • Load and extract salary survey information in coordination with the Compensation Business Partnering team.
  • Create reporting tools and templates for deployment to the Compensation Business Partnering team.
  • Support other compensation activities as required, including sales compensation processing and one-time payments (e.g., bonus, retention) and ensuring processing quality.


Benefits Operations:
  • Oversee the administration of health and welfare, retirement, pension, and employee share plans and fleet program, including reporting, vendor coordination, escalations, file processing, implementations, reconciliations, audits, and payroll errors.
  • Ensure accurate recordkeeping and compliance with all financial, legal, and regulatory requirements.
  • Partner with key stakeholders such as Total Rewards, Payroll, and HR Tech to administer programs and resolve issues promptly.


Mobility Operations:

  • Oversee international mobility administration, including assignee relocation lifecycle management and coordination with relocation and tax vendors; partner with the global mobility team on policy application and exception management.
  • Manage assignee-related billing, tax preparation workflows, and visa follow-up with Legal.
  • Oversee mobility payroll file management, shadow payroll coordination with Payroll and Accounting, and International Local Hire workflows in our systems.


Collaboration & Process Improvement:
  • Oversee the work and development of the Rewards & Mobility Operations team.
  • Partner collaboratively with the Total Rewards COE and share key trends to improve processes and enhance business partnership.
  • Coordinate with critical partners on key deliverables and process improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, standard operating procedures, and training materials for all processes to enable scalability and continuity within the team.
  • Support ad hoc projects as needed, including acquisitions and organizational restructuring.


What We Are Looking For:

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's/master's degree in a related field such as human resources or psychology
  • Minimum 10 years of Total Rewards experience, with primary depth in compensation; experience with benefits administration and/or mobility programs a plus
  • Minimum 5 years in leadership role with direct accountability for team development
  • Deep knowledge of full compensation life cycle (salary survey participation, competitive analysis, yearend process) with focus on process improvement, organizational partnering, and change management/ communication.
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex and technical subject matter in a simple manner
  • Ability to build strong working relationships across the business and manage through competing demands and desired outcomes with a customer focused orientation
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, handle multiple tasks, and work independently in a fast paced and complex environment.
  • Ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with attention to detail, tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
  • Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills, strong mathematical and compensation analytical skills.
  • Deep understanding of human resource principles, practices, and procedures with a strong curiosity in HR and understanding of HR disciplines such as change management, organizational design, talent management, training design, and employment law.
  • Strong technical skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Some experience with an HRIS tool and familiarity with emerging AI tools


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience working in a multi-national, highly matrixed organization or in a consulting practice preferred.
