Full Job Description
ROLE SUMMARY

As the Director, you will hold a pivotal position in leading and managing all aspects of our engagements. These engagements include critical tasks such as bankruptcy-related financial and legal analysis, litigation support, complex financial modeling, valuations, strategic assessment, and the quantification of damages. We are seeking an experienced and highly capable Vice President who can bring expertise and leadership to these complex financial and legal matters.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and manage all key aspects of the firm's engagements, contributing to bankruptcy-related financial and legal analysis, litigation, financial modeling, valuations, strategic assessment, and damage quantification.
  • Collaborate closely with diverse teams, representing a wide array of clients, including debtors, Chief Restructuring Officers (CROs), chapters 7 and 11 trustees, liquidating/litigation trustees, creditors, creditors' committees, and plan administrators. These cases span across a diverse range of industries.
  • Demonstrate advanced technical skills, successfully completing modeling and technical skills testing as prescribed by the company. This includes but is not limited to proficiency in areas such as financial modeling, financial analytics, and client-focused deliverables.
  • Provide expertise in areas including the evaluation of first-day motions, 13-week cash flow analyses, liquidity forecasting, constructing recovery waterfalls, lender presentations, vendor analyses, SOALs/SOFAs/MORs, KEIP & KERP analyses, liquidation, wind-down, claims analyses, and three-statement models.
  • Oversee the creation of detailed 3-statement financial models, perform ad hoc financial analytics, and conduct company valuations.
  • Manage preparation of pitch books and offer thoughtful research and analysis for potential clients.
  • Engage in direct communication with senior personnel at Province and our clients, developing comprehensive solutions to complex financial challenges across multiple industries. This includes the ability to recognize underlying issues and condense large amounts of financial and legal information into logical, thoughtful, and concise solutions and presentations.


QUALIFICATIONS / IDEAL CANDIDATE

Academic/Work:

  • 5-10 years' experience in corporate restructuring, investment banking, private equity, finance, financial consulting, or relevant corporate positions with a financial or legal focus.
  • 2+ years' experience managing a team and workstreams.
  • A solid academic background from a reputable undergraduate/graduate program.


Technical:

  • Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, financial analytics, and the ability to successfully complete modeling and technical skills testing prescribed by the company.
  • Exceptional skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other relevant software tools.
