Overview

The Director, RCM Quality & Training provides enterprise-wide strategic and operational leadership for Revenue Cycle workforce development, quality assurance, and competency management functions across UF Health. This leader is responsible for establishing and governing the enterprise Revenue Cycle Workforce Development, Quality Assurance, and Competency Management strategies across UF Health, ensuring workforce readiness, operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and long-term organizational capability. The Director oversees a team of quality and training professionals, connecting training outcomes directly to operational performance improvement and fostering a culture of continuous learning and accountability. This role serves the principal advisor to RCM operations, Human Resources, Epic, and Compliance leadership to ensure that all revenue cycle staff are fully equipped, credentialed, and continuously developed to meet organizational goals. Accountable for enterprise RCM quality outcomes, training effectiveness metrics, workforce competency standards, certification compliance, onboarding performance, and workforce readiness measures.

Qualifications

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in health administration, Education, Organizational Development, or a related field required.

Experience
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in corporate training, with at least 3 years in a leadership role with direct responsibility for training, quality, or workforce development.

License/Certification/Registration
  • Epic certification in one or more revenue cycle modules preferred.
  • ATD (Association for Talent Development) certification or equivalent instructional design/training credential a plus.

Other Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience designing and operationalizing a structured training program or academy.
  • Proven experience developing and launching leadership development programs, mentorship initiatives, or career pathway frameworks in partnership with HR or organizational development teams.
  • Experience managing Epic certification programs across a large, multi-role revenue cycle workforce, including tracking certification attainment and maintaining active training pipelines preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to connect training program outcomes to measurable operational performance improvement, including the development of training analytics and reporting.
  • Experience developing and managing training systems encompassing scheduling, intake, facilitation, and post-training evaluation.
