Want to learn more: Job Description:Provides strategic input and operational leadership of the system quality department and patient safety program. Utilizes expertise and knowledge of quality principles, quality payment programs, and quality regulatory program requirements to provide leadership across the system for performance measurement, analytics, and provision of actionable data resulting in top decile quality and safety results while achieving regulatory requirements. Identifies and analyzes quality improvement opportunities, partners with leaders and providers to develop action plans to attain top decile performance and optimize payer contract quality performance. Ensures appropriate work processes and resource management to achieve the quality management system requirements while executing on the quality plan. Partners with Decision Support, Information Services, and the ACO to ensure data integrity, efficiency, and timeliness of internal and external quality reporting requirements. Provides input into the safety strategy and provides operational leadership of the implementation of integrated safety strategies to eliminate harm. Demonstrates a relentless commitment to quality outcomes and safe, high reliable care. This individual will use strong leadership and communication skills to successfully coordinate resources and ensure effective collaboration across functions and sites.
Qualifications:Master's degree in Business or Healthcare related field required; expertly trained to use current process improvement tools required; MBA, MHA, MSN or MA degree in Management, Healthcare, or related Process Improvement (PI) area preferred; Six Sigma Blackbelt or Sigma Lean and Patient Safety Officer training preferred.
Appropriate WI license required; Patient Safety Officer or equivalent training preferred.
Five years of experience in a health system leadership role required. Knowledge of quality payment programs is required. At least three years of experience in continuous quality improvement and knowledge of quality and patient safety program regulations and standards required.
