Summary:

Leads activities and resources for Quality, performance improvement, patient safety and compliance with Accreditation & Licensure to ensure alignment with the mission, and pillars of the Memorial Healthcare System. Responsible for overseeing all quality improvement and driving quality results for the area of responsibility.

Responsibilities:

Leads or participates in key quality and safety activities to ensure that all federal, state, NCQA, Joint Commission and payor requirements are met including but not limited to, such as Code 15 reviews, Root Cause Analyses, FMEA's, QI registries or other activities as appropriate.Takes a leadership role in educating staff and physicians on key safety and quality issues. Acts as a resource as needed related to compliance with regulatory/accreditation standards.Assesses and reports quality indicator outcomes as appropriate to the facility and line of service. Designs education as needed to enable areas of responsibility to utilize and quality data.Develops and implements initiatives that ensure compliance with regulatory agencies as well as Accrediting bodies as appropriate per line of service, such the Joint Commission, ACHA, CARF, DCF or any other appropriate agency. Ensures continual readiness for Accreditation surveys.
